Rockdale's boy 'demons 'o the boards' didn't fare so well this season. They were eliminated early in the County Meet, which was won by Cameron.
Hubert Dennis can be congratulated on his ability to develop a fair team from practically no material, (his B.B. Team played good football on the court).

More of Rockdale's Royal Bengals who have done themselves proud are the R.H.S. Tigresses. The greatest team ever to grace the boards of Rockdale's gym has passed on. Through the County Meet in a breeze, it took the first place honors by winning four hard games from Flat, Turnersville, Buffalo Gap, and Indian Gap.
The Tigresses have piled up the astounding season total of 1080 points in 25 games to 548 for the opposition. 24 points were the lowest single game total.
They wer undefeated until they lost to Winnsboro in Wood County in the semi-finals of the state A.A.U. Meet at Plainview held in March. Winnsboro winning this meet.
Louise Barnes, forward, amassed a total of 559 points. The team was most splendidly coached by Miss Mabel Lene Graves.
