Survivors include his wife, Gracile Remaley, of Rockdale; two sons, Trent and Cameron Remaley, both of Rockdale; two daughters, Melissa and Erica Remaley, both of Rockdale; his father, Edwin C. Remaley, of Rockdale; a sister, Patty Crotheau, of Craig, CO;  and a granddaughter, Brittny Casteneda, of Rockdale.
Pallbearers included Kevan Fincher, Hank Wobus, Mike Taylor, Fred Marshall, Fred Gerthe and Al Simank.
Honorary pallbearers were Gelenda Fincher, Bobbie Wobus, Kay Simank, Holly Taylor and Heather Wobus.
Mr. Remaley was a member of the Episcopal Church, of the Alcoa 25-year club, Rockdale Country Club and the Gold Wing Road Rider Association, Caldwell Chapter B.  He coached Little League and was a past president of the Rockdale Babe Ruth League.
He was a 1965 graduate of Rockdale High School, completed one year at Navarro Junior College and one semester at Texas A&M.

Funeral Services for Robert C. (Bobby) Remaley, 47, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Mr. Remaley died Wednesday, Aug. 10 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple.  He had lived in Rockdale for the past 41 years.
He was born Feb. 14, 1947, in New Kensington, PA to Edwin C. and Norma L. Remaley.  He was a mechanical maintenance supervisor with Alcoa’s Rockdale Operations for 29 years.  He and Gracile Jones were married Aug. 3, 1974, in Rockdale. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma L. Remaley, April 23, 1994.
