David Baca of Duncanville, TX went to be with the Lord suddenly on Monday June 15th 2015 he was born to Eduardo Cardon Baca and Bernadine Baca on March 11, 1945 in Houston, TX.

David was raised in Rockdale, TX also lived in Las Cruces, New Mexico for several years he made Dallas home for the last 45 years.

David married Mercedes Canales Baca on April 26, 1975 at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Dallas.

David worked with acrylic companies for many years and also as a tow truck driver and owner of his own tow truck company during the 70's and 80's and retired in the early 90's.

David was diagnosed with polio at 3 month of age and endured many adversities in life but always remained firm in God's will for his life.

David became a member of Cathedral El Calvario Assembly of God in 1976 in Dallas and in 1998 he became a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church in Dallas where he remained a member until his passing.

David although not able to enter church most of the time in the past recent years due to his disability, he always continued to help and assist Gospel Lighthouse Church in Dallas as a volunteer security officer faithfully every week up till the day before his passing.

David is survived by his Wife of 40 years Mercedes Baca, son David Baca Jr., his daughter in law Maria Baca and 2 granddaughters Natalia and Brianna Baca of Forney, TX.

David is also survived by his brothers Edward Baca and his wife Lupe of Austin, TX, Jesus Baca of Duncanville, TX, Mickey Baca and his wife Stacey, of Mesquite, TX; several nieces, nephews and cousins as well as extended family in New Mexico, California and New York.

Graveside Services will be Friday June 19, 2015, at Little Bethel Memorial Park/Little Bethel Cemetery,  1800 Cedar Hill Rd,  Duncanville, TX 75137  - 2:30pm

I heard from David today  July 18, 2008.  Also spoke to his brother Jessie who was a year behind us.
