ROCKDALE — Masonic graveside services for Joe Bill Rogers, 71, of Rockdale will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Oak Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Rogers died Saturday, Sept. 4, at a Rockdale hospital.
He was born Feb. 12, 1939, to Dick and Vena Clinard Rogers in Bell County. He married Donna Christian on Aug. 20, 1987 in Rockdale. He was a police officer in Lexington, Cameron and Caldwell. He lived in Rockdale for 40 years.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Melanie Earley of Arlington; two brothers, Wayne Rogers of Rockdale and C.J. Sparks of Burleson; two sisters, Dora and Evelyn; a stepsister, Joann Bolmes of Washington; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9:30-10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
