Kathryne B. Johnston, 89, of Corsicana passed away Sunday, June 23, 2002 in Corsicana.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mike Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnston was born March 25, 1913 in Muskogee, Okla. She was a teacher and an active member of the First United Methodist Church. She taught school for over 40 years and loved to teach. School was a big part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence F. Johnston.
Survivors include daughter and husband, Margaret and Donald Nicholson of Corsicana; grandsons and wives, Harry Donald and Darline Nicholson Jr. of Corsicana and Nathan Clay and Vanessa Nicholson of Corsicana; great-grandsons, Nick Nicholson of Corsicana, James Nicholson of Corsicana and Nathan Nicholson of Corsicana; great-granddaughter, Taylor Faye Nicholson of Corsicana; sister-in-law, Louise Bowers of Shaker Heights, Ohio; and other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Corley Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions can be made to Methodist Children's Home, 1111 Herring Avenue, Waco, Texas, 76708.
