I've lived in Rockdale, Germany ( ' 71-' 73), back to the states to Somerville, back to Rockdale, to Rogers, back to Rockdale, to Beaumont and now Houston! Graduated from Sam Houston State in ' 69 with a B.S. and then in 1995 from Lamar University with my master's degree in counseling. I have 2 children and 3 grandchildren, 3 dogs and 4 cats. Still working in the school business--almost 40 years. Love my job here in Cy-Fair. When I retire I plan to just play with the grandkids!

Here is the baby deer that we got to visit today. It's mama was hit by a car and my friend is deer sitting until Texas Parks and Wildlife come to get her. She is so precious...only 5 days old. She loved the kids. She thinks my friends lab is her mama and tries to nurse off the dog.
